Homeowner Responsibilities

  1. Talk to your neighbors and get to know them, how to reach them in case of emergency
  2. Create Defensible space around your home for fire prevention
  3. Compliance with the outlines of the architectural committee requirements.
  4. Maintain home and property
  5. Complete repairs in a timely manner
  6. Driving/speed: everyone needs to slow down, especially need to communicate to contractors, workers, renters.
  7. Respect Wilderness Environment including minimal lights at night (Dark Sky) and reduced noise pollution (barking dogs, outdoor music)
  8. Renters/short-term occupants: board circulated a list of responsibilities that homeowners need to tell renters, including: Quiet time after 10 pm (Placer County regulation): parties, music, lights  - IMPORTANT - if you witness any issue with a short-term rental (noise, parking violation, etc), please call 530-448-8003 to report it!
  9. Winter parking rules
  10. Number of cars limited to what fits in the driveway/garage
  11. Leases should include clause that if law enforcement is called for any reason, occupants must vacate premises immediately and lose their deposit.
